Dear Parent/Carers
As part of our Book Week activities at Hanslope Primary School, Parents and Carers are warmly invited into school to have a pastry, a fruit juice and share a book with your children. You are very welcome to bring in a favourite book to share or choose one of the books in the hall. You will join us in Salcey Hall from 8:30–9:00am on the following days:
Tuesday 3rd March – EYFS and KS1 parents – Foundation, years 1 and 2
Wednesday 4th March – Lower KS2 parents – years 3 and 4
Thursday 5th March – Upper KS2 parents – years 5 and 6
If you are interested in attending this event, please could you let your child’s teacher know how many will be attending either by a note in the Home School book or by email as soon as possible and please no later than the end of Friday 27th February. This will help with buying the appropriate amount of refreshments. If you or your child has any allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us at this time too.
We kindly ask for a donation on the day towards the cost of refreshments.
Each session will begin promptly at 8:30am (school gates will open at 8:25am). Please arrive on the playground with your child at this time if you wish to take part. Unfortunately, due to safeguarding requirements and staffing arrangements, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals or parents wishing to come via the All Weather Pitch.
For children whose parents or carers are unable to attend, children will join us in the hall where a member of staff will share a book with them.
We look forward to welcoming you for breakfast with a book!
Kind regards,
The English team
