Key Stage 2 enjoyed performing their end of year play. They received rave reviews! I would just like to say that all of you involved in the play are fantastic. Thank you so much for all your efforts into making it so entertaining. I can imagine you lost a lot of break times, lunchtimes, evenings and weekends with your own families, to make it amazing for all of the parents and children. To see my child up there enjoying themselves was amazing, and it brings our community together. Well done everyone! I would like to thank you and all the staff involved in the production of Hoodwinked, it was really lovely to see the children performing and we really appreciate all the time and effort that everyone has put into this. Please pass on my gratitude to all the teachers involved. Congratulations on a lovely performance.
Year 6 celebrated their final sports day here at Hanslope Primary School. They took part in a number of different events including vortex, running races, long and triple jump, and finishing off with tug of war. It was so lovely to welcome parents into the school again to watch them take part and the children showed such wonderful sportsmanship and were really celebrating the efforts and talents of one another. A great morning had by all!
On Friday 10th June, Year 5 got the chance to take part in a drama workshop with Georgia from Black Sheep Collective. They explored the themes within Shakespeare’s plays and learnt how to create character and story through still images. All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were desperate to further their acting skills.
