Library News!

Library News Our library has had a frightfully fun makeover! Just in time for Halloween, our shelves are now filled with “Spooky Stories” — a collection of creepy (but not too scary!) tales for brave readers to enjoy. From Ten Spooky Skeletons to Seriously Spooky Stories, there’s something to give everyone a delightful shiver! Children have loved exploring the themed display, complete with pumpkins, ghosts, and even a few cheeky skeletons keeping watch! It’s been wonderful seeing pupils so excited to dive into these eerie adventures. We are encouraging everyone to keep reading for both progress and pleasure. Regular reading at home makes a real difference to confidence, fluency, and imagination. Don’t forget, every time children read at home, they can earn golden tickets for a chance to win a special prize in our next draw. Library Days: Each class visits the library weekly to change books. Please help your child remember to bring theirs back on their library day so they can choose a new one. Book Donations: We always welcome good-quality children’s books that are no longer needed at home. Donated books help keep our library bright, fresh, and full of exciting stories for everyone to enjoy. As the weather turns milder and the evenings draw in, it’s the perfect time to get cosy with a good book. We encourage all our pupils to keep reading over half term — share a story together, visit your local library, or create a cosy reading corner at home.
