Welcome to Hanslope 326 Club

At 326 we know that play is an important part of a child’s development and our staff support the play process at all times. Rated “Good” by Ofsted (Dec 2013) we provide a range of activities from arts and crafts, dressing up and role play, outdoor and indoor play, to organised group games, cooking and quiet play. All of these combine to help children learn new skills, build confidence, evaluate risks and promote healthy lifestyles.

The club is a non-profit charity organisation managed by a committee of elected volunteers. This ensures major decision making is in the hands of those who use the club.

Indoors, the children have the choice of a large range of toys and games including football, pool and table tennis tables, construction toys, babies and dolls, dressing up and much more!

Food

For those children attending the breakfast club a healthy breakfast will be provided, typically consisting of a choice of cereal and fruit, a drink and toast or muffin etc. Each day around 4pm we provide a healthy light snack that includes a choice of fruit or vegetables and a drink. On occasion the children have the opportunity to get involved in making their own snack. The snack menu for the week is displayed in the hall.

Packed lunches are required for Playscheme days.

Term-time Activity Clubs

                        MK Dons Football – Mondays 3.20 – 4.20pm (Key stage 1 only)

The children are coached by qualified MK Dons coaches and are taught a variety of ball skills. They learn how to warm up and cool down and play matches against each other.

Pottery Club – Fridays 3.15 – 4.15pm (Key stage 1 & 2)

Julia Norman, our pottery tutor, helps the children make and perfect their own clay models. Children learn new skills which enable them to build, mould and finally glaze their creations.

Gymnastics Club – Fridays 4.15 – 5.15pm (Key stage 1 & 2)

The children do a variety of floor work and use a range of different equipment to help them improve their gymnastic skills. Children work towards British Gymnastic proficiency awards to gain badges and certificates.
