Welcome to Hanslope Primary School. My name is Brittany Mudaliar, and I am proud to serve as Chair of Governors.
I believe passionately in the difference that a great education can make to a child’s life. Education should broaden horizons, encourage curiosity and confidence, challenge children to achieve their best and provide support when they need it. It should introduce them to new experiences and different perspectives, while giving them the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need for the future.
At Hanslope, we want every child to develop a lifelong love of learning and to feel that they belong, that they are valued and that they can succeed. Our ambition is to support an inclusive, enriching and well-rounded education that recognises children as individuals and equips them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Our governing body is made up of dedicated volunteers, including parents, staff and members of the local community, who bring a wide range of experience, skills and perspectives to the school. We work closely with the Headteachers, senior leadership team and staff, with a shared commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to flourish.
As governors, our role is strategic. We help set the direction of the school, oversee its financial performance and the effective use of resources, and provide both support and constructive challenge to ensure the school continues to improve and achieve the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
We also recognise that children thrive when school, families and the wider community work together. By building strong and positive partnerships, we can help create an environment in which every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to fulfil their potential.
