Meet the Hanslope Primary School Council
What is School Council?
A School Council is a group of pupils from Year One to Year Six, within school, who have been elected by their peers (based on a particular set of qualities) to represent them and their views.
School Councillors will do the following:
- Encourage pupils to follow the school’s ‘Golden Rules’.
- Be a good role model to other pupils.
- Attend regular meetings with other School Council members from each class.
- Listen to the views of class pupils and share these views at meetings.
- Feedback information and questions to classes discussed from the School Council meetings.
- Make a positive contribution to school life.
