Year 5 had a fantastic visit from the Newport Pagnell Fire Brigade today. The children were given a tour of a working fire engine and learned about the different pieces of equipment firefighters use in emergencies.
They also took part in a theory session where they recapped the fire triangle and discussed important fire safety advice, including what to do if there is a fire at home and the “Stop, Drop and Roll” technique.
The children asked lots of great questions and really enjoyed their morning while learning valuable fire safety skills.
