As you are probably aware, on Thursday 8th May we mark the 80th anniversary of VE day. It is a special day for the whole Country and something we would also like to mark as a school.
Throughout the week we will be participating in activities in class to learn about what VE day is and why we still celebrate it today. On Thursday, we are holding a whole school assembly to commemorate the day.
We are also letting children come into school in a red, white or blue top with school bottoms to celebrate on Thursday. This is not compulsory and no donation is needed. Please ensure children are still in sensible shoes and appropriate clothing if doing PE.
