Years 3 and 4- Parents are invited to come in on Tuesday 5th March 8.30-8.55am to read and share a book with their children. This will be held in Salcey Hall.
Competition time!
We want children to become creative and inspired by books for this year’s competitions. There are two competitions if the children would like to take part in one or both.
Option 1: Create a book character from a fruit or vegetable.
There are lots of ideas on Google.
Option 2: Book in a box- Can you turn a shoe box into a book so we can guess which book it is from?
Please bring in your competition entry on Tuesday 5th March so that we can all appreciate your creations before judging. For each class, there will be a winner, who will be awarded with a book voucher.
We really hope the children will enjoy the week and the book-themed inspired activities that are taking place across the school as part of their learning.
