Cross Country will take place on Saturday 23rd March.

 

There are a few important pieces of information that you will need for the day:

 

  1. Please ensure your child is at the venue (Milton Keynes Rugby Club, Emerson Valley) at 8:30 as the first race begins at 9.They will not wait for late comers. 
  2. Due to the change in location the parents/carers will be asked to wait in a spectator area and the children with school staff. 
  3. Your child will need to bring with them a water bottle, snack, warm coat and warm leggings. NOTE: no spiked shoes or football boots are allowed to be worn. 
  4. Your child will be given a Hanslope t shirt to wear on the day of the event. Please ensure they are wearing a Hanslope PE top if they have one or a plain blue top. They can then put this t shirt over the top. 
  5. Car parking: there is an onsite car park costing £2 cash. However, where possible if you can car share or park in an alterative location and walk this is advisable. I have attached a map to show nearby car parks. 

 

Note to parents/carers:

I have been asked to pass on this message: you are not able to run next to your child around the track. This will result in the disqualification of the child. However: cheering, chanting and loud encouragement is greatly appreciated and encouraged.
